Bernard A. Gilhooly Award Each year the Cultural Committee presents the Bernard A. Gilhooly Award to someone who emulates the undying persistence of the Irish people by “passing on” Irish culture in the Quad Cities and its outlying areas.
Nomination letters of
150 words or less are being requested by August 15, 2010. Winners receive a bronze statuette of Annie Moore, first immigrant registered through Ellis Island, and a certificate of recognition. |
