LEAHYS LUCK will be back again in 2009. They have been performing Irish folk music for twelve years with four recordings to their credit and a Wisconsin Area Music Industry's 2001 World/Ethnic Group of the Year. In years past they've played at the Quad Cities Irish Festival, Peoria's Erin Feis, Chicago's Gaelic Park, Cleveland's Irish Festival, and performed at many other festivals, concerts, and gatherings throughout the Midwest. Currently, the band consists of Brian and Tom Leahy who continue to lead the band with guitars, bass, and distinctive vocals; Evan Leahy, Tom’s son, a world-class Irish drummer; Randall Harrison on fiddle; and Stas Venglevski an award winning accordianist. In everything Irish is the love of life, and Leahys Luck manages to convey this spirit in their music.
