100000 Welcomes.           waving flag

The St. Patrick Society was founded in March 1985 with a mission to honor and celebrate our Irish heritage in the Quad Cities. The first Grand Parade marched on March 17, 1986 and has become a beloved Bi-State tradition for thousands of participants and spectators.

The continued growth of Grand Parade weekend, our scholarship program, our partnerships with other Irish/Celtic heritage organizations and the St. Patrick Society Irish Memorial all serve to fulfill that mission set forth in 1985.

The St. Patrick Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Directors. We are a self-funded organization, raising revenues for all expenses through annual membership dues, memorabilia merchandise sales, Sponsor and Booster contributions, and other fundraising efforts.

The St. Patrick Society is the sole entity responsible for the Grand Parade. NO monies from any governmental bodies are allocated to the Society. It has been estimated that the Grand Parade generates over $1.3 million* in annual spending within the Quad Cities and increases in significance each year.
